Miso Butter Radishes
Sweet roasted radishes glazed in savory miso butter with a crisp, salty finish.
Ingredients
- 2 pcs Radishes
- 1 tbsp White Miso
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 0.75 tsp Kosher Salt
- 0.25 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 pcs Lemon
- 4 pcs Parsley
- 0.25 tsp Flaky Sea Salt
Method
- Trim and halve {radishes}; pat them dry so they roast instead of steam. Finely chop {parsley} and set aside. Season {radishes} with {kosher_salt} and {black_pepper}.
- Heat the oven to high. Toss {radishes} with {olive_oil} on a sheet pan, spread them cut side down without crowding, and roast until lightly browned, tender at the center, and sweet-smelling.
- In a small skillet over low heat, melt {butter}, whisk in {white_miso}, and warm gently until smooth, glossy, and fragrant. Add a squeeze of {lemon} to brighten the glaze.
- Transfer {radishes} to the skillet with the miso butter and toss over low heat until evenly coated and glossy. Taste and adjust with more {kosher_salt} if needed, then fold in {parsley}.
- Spoon the glazed {radishes} onto a warm plate and finish with {flaky_sea_salt} for delicate crunch.
