Prickly Pear Agua

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs Prickly Pear
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 pcs Lime
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 cups Ice

Method

  1. Peel {prickly_pear} carefully, trim away any remaining spines, then roughly chop the flesh and juice {lime}.
  2. Blend the prepared {prickly_pear} with {water}, {sugar}, and {lime} until completely smooth and vividly pink.
  3. Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher, pressing gently to extract liquid while leaving the seeds behind.
  4. Fill glasses with {ice}, pour in the strained agua fresca, stir briefly, and serve immediately while very cold and bright.
