Prickly Pear Agua
Chilled, jewel-bright and lightly sweet with a crisp lime finish.
Ingredients
- 4 pcs Prickly Pear
- 2 cups Water
- 1 pcs Lime
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 cups Ice
Method
- Peel {prickly_pear} carefully, trim away any remaining spines, then roughly chop the flesh and juice {lime}.
- Blend the prepared {prickly_pear} with {water}, {sugar}, and {lime} until completely smooth and vividly pink.
- Pour the blended mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher, pressing gently to extract liquid while leaving the seeds behind.
- Fill glasses with {ice}, pour in the strained agua fresca, stir briefly, and serve immediately while very cold and bright.
