Shopska Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs Tomato
  • 1 pcs Cucumber
  • 0.5 pcs Red Onion
  • 120 g Roasted Red Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower Oil
  • 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 0.75 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 120 g Sirene

Method

  1. Cut {tomato} and {cucumber} into even pieces, thinly slice {red_onion}, dice {roasted_red_pepper}, and season the vegetables lightly with {kosher_salt} so they stay lively rather than watery.
  2. Combine the prepared vegetables in a bowl, drizzle with {sunflower_oil} and {red_wine_vinegar}, then toss gently until glossy and evenly coated; taste and adjust with the seasoned vegetables if needed.
  3. Pile the dressed salad onto plates and grate {sirene} generously over the top at the last moment so it stays dry, snowy, and distinct instead of melting into the vegetables.
