Suutei Tsai
Silky salted milk tea with gentle warmth and a nourishing, buttery finish.
Ingredients
- 300 ml Water
- 300 ml Whole Milk
- 2 tsp Green Tea
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 0.5 tsp Kosher Salt
Method
- Bring {water} to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add {green_tea} and {kosher_salt}, then simmer gently until the tea smells grassy and the color deepens.
- Lower to medium heat and pour in {whole_milk}. Heat gently, stirring often, until lightly steaming and unified; do not boil so the {whole_milk} stays sweet and smooth.
- Strain into warm cups, then stir in {unsalted_butter} until melted and glossy for a richer body and soft finish.
